Birth
Me at Birth
My main task during birth is to create a sacred space for you and the child where to dwell in during birth. Also to maintain a constant contact with the soul that is being born, with your soul and with all the spiritual helpers who are participating. This is how I can receive information, if necessary, for example on how to even more deeply accompany the mother to devote and totally surrender to the process of creation.
Having acquired the ability to be in a place without having to be physically there and thanks to the quality of the meetings that I propose during pregnancy, starting from 2020 my presence at birth will exclusively be SOUL PRESENCE.
Through love,
I keep you aware of not being alone and of your self-confidence and trust in the natural skills of your body and of the baby.
We cannot birth our babies through sheer force of will.
We need to learn the more subtle, the equally powerful, path of surrender

Placenta and Lotus Birth
Lotus Birth was named by Jeannine Parvati Baker in the US and Shivam Rachana in Australia, who have both been strong advocates for this gentle practice of leaving the umbilical cord uncut, so that the baby remains attached to his/her placenta until the cord naturally separates at the umbilicus – exactly as a cut cord does – at 3 to 7 days after birth.

Lotus Birth can be an exquisite ritual
which enhances the magic of the early post natal days.
This prolonged contact can be seen as a time of transition,
allowing the baby to slowly and gently let go of his/her attachment to the mother’s body.
It also allows, either body and soul of the child,
to gently accustom to the new situation.
Many babies have been born this way, including babies born at home and in hospital, on land and in water, and even by caesarean section. Lotus birth is a beautiful and logical extension of natural childbirth, and invites us to reclaim the so-called third stage of birth, and to honour the placenta, our baby’s first source of nourishment.
One of the significant things that happens after the baby is born is that blood continues to flow through the cord and the baby receives a further 10-50% more of its own blood, this process seems to be regulated by the baby, if the cord isn’t cut straight away. Many notice an integrity and self-possession with lotus-born children, and lovingness, cohesion, attunement to nature, trust, and respect for the natural order are imprinted by honouring the placenta, the Tree of Life, through Lotus Birth.
This part of birth is one of the most rushed and most fragile. It is the “space in between” where the magic happens’. Unfortunately, cutting the cord straight away after the baby is born, or way before it has stopped pulsing (which can take 10 minutes or more) is still common practice, even though there is plenty of scientific evidence to prove this is a bad idea for the baby.
Physiology, the natural functioning of birth when no action is taken and that occurs spontaneously and instinctively in most cases for a healthy woman and a healthy child; at this point of birth (which has not ended yet!) envisages the release of a huge surge of oxytocin, the highest level of oxytocin a woman ever has in her life. Its purpose is to flood the mother and the baby, who’s cord should still be connected to the placenta, with the hormone of love to facilitate bonding and to contract her womb, to detach the placenta so it can be born spontaneously. This only happens if the mother and baby are not disturbed. If they are disturbed, by questions or instructions or other people’s hands and people fiddling with the baby, cord or womb, then this peak of oxytocin doesn’t happen, and the mother and baby are robbed of what Mother Nature designed as best for life.
Mostly what happens is that women are given an intramuscular injection of synthetic oxytocin which contracts the womb, but doesn’t give the mother and baby the love hit, and the placenta is usually pulled out by ‘gentle’ cord ‘traction’ then.
